One of the oldest Chateau in Bordeaux, originating in 1366, Chateau Timberlay produces estate grown Bordeaux wines with an ecological and terroir driven philosophy. Their offerings combine tradition and authenticity with an approach that makes Bordeaux accessible. This appellation Bordeaux Superieur combines Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grown in a single block, 125 hectare estate with soils with a mix of clay, limestone and sand perfectly suited to these varietals.
This wine is an intense, brilliant ruby red color. It offers a complex fruity bouquet (blackberries, black currants and strawberry) and elegant notes of oak and spice. Well-structured and fresh flavored – the wine is rich and round, with soft, subtle tannins; Long finish has hints of vanilla and cinnamon.

Château Timberlay, one of the oldest Châteaus in Bordeaux, produces Estate grown Bordeaux wines with an ecological and terroir driven philosophy. The vineyard sits directly at the 45th parallel, making it perfectly centered between the equator and North Pole creating the ideal terroir, while the soil combination of clay, limestone, and sand lend the grapes elegance and structure. The entire vineyard is farmed under the guidelines of Terra Vitis, a French organization that independently certifies compliance with sustainable vineyard practices. Their sense of dedication is carried throughout the entire winemaking process, from hand-harvesting and sorting the grapes to eliminate flawed bunches, to careful barrel and aging regimens. None of which go unnoticed when enjoying this high-quality wine and traditional Bordeaux character.
