A sophisticated wine with flattering aromas. This wine presents a beautiful harmony between fruit and minerality. The mouth is elegant with a mineral finish. This wine comes from the most chalky terroir of the estate. One of the best "climat"of the appellation.

About Château de Pierreclos:

The wines of Château de Pierreclos are produced from 10 hectares of vines, spread over eight villages under eight appellations such as Pouilly-Fuissé premier cru, Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Véran, Mâcon-Pierreclos, Mâcon-Bussières, Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine, Mâcon-Solutré-Pouilly for the white wines and a Bourgogne Pinot Noir for the red.

Each parcel of vines, cultivated by the family in the respect of organic agriculture like a garden, is both a natural and cultural heritage. They have been chosen for their geological and climatic conditions which are most favourable to the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grape varieties. The vinification is designed to reveal the unique character of the terroir in each cuvée.

Since the 2022 vintage, under the Comtes de Pierreclos label, we have been offering exceptional wines made exclusively from the vineyards of Solutré Pouilly Vergisson, a Great Natural Site of France.

Through the tastings we offer, we hope to share our knowledge of these soils and pass on to you our passion for the profession of winegrower and winemaker.
