Sonoma Coast
Winemaker Notes
This well-balanced Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from cooler vineyards in the southern end of the Sonoma Coast AVA. The Hi-Vista vineyard in western Carneros and the Grossi vineyard north of Petaluma contribute spice and bright tangy acidity. The Leveroni vineyard south of Sonoma contributes the unique floral character of the Sauvignon "musque" clone. The resulting blend has a bouquet of nectarine and grapefruit zest, leading to lush fruit flavors of kiwi, lime, and grapefruit. .
Food Pairing - an ideal accompaniment to a wide range of soups, salads, and shellfish dishes.

About Schug
At Schug we are proud to carry on our family’s 100-year-old tradition of hand-crafted Pinot Noir. From our roots in Germany and now as 30-year stewards of the land at our Carneros Estate, we follow in the footsteps of our father and founder, winemaking pioneer Walter Schug. By honoring our decades-old, handshake commitments with local farmers throughout Sonoma County, coupled with techniques handed down through the generations, we make wines known the world over for their grace and balance. We hope they find a place on your table, in meals with family and friends, creating memories that share in the Heritage passed on from our Mom & Dad. With each cork we pull, each bottle we pour, we hope we make them proud.
