Winemaker Notes

The 2021 edge Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from premium Alexander Valley vineyards, specifically chosen for their high-quality fruit and tannin structure. Ray Signorello and his winemaking team have crafted a rich and luscious age-worthy Cabernet Sauvignon that will drink beautifully for the next 5-8 years.

2021 came as a welcome relief on the heels of a stressful 2020 vintage. It was recorded as one of the driest years with limited rainfalls supply. Cool nights and full sun days with no danger of major heat spikes, resulted in a small crop but with near perfect flavor development and concentration. The resulting wines are well structured, showing power and fine quality tannin expressions. Their complexity will continue to unveil over the next few decades.

Blend: 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petit Syrah, 2% Merlot, 1% Petit Verdot, 1 % Cabernet Franc

James Suckling 92 Points

About Edge Wine

Ray Signorello is someone who knows a thing or two about how to make great wine.  With a premium Napa Valley estate winery (Signorello Estate), a wine distribution company and two other Cabernet Sauvignon projects that he owns and manages, Ray knows what it takes to make world class wine.

Ray oversees our winemaking and, together with our extraordinary team, hand selects the vineyards for EDGE. The result is a luscious Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon that drinks wonderfully right out of the gate and may also be enjoyed several years down the road.
