Duel is the idyllic marriage of two distinguished varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. This unique blend varies year to year, seeking to harmonize the deep satisfying fruit and earthy minerality of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz’s vibrance, plushness, and exotic spices. Duel is a wine with style, soul, and substance.

Taut and densely packed, 2020 Duel delivers its trademark earthiness and spice with notes of currant, black peppercorn, and dried herbs that lift from the glass. On entry, juicy crushed blackberries and crème de cassis fill the palate, enhanced by intriguing herbal notes off spiced chai, acacia wood, and tobacco lent by Shiraz. Cabernet Sauvignon adds freshness and vibrancy, with impressive tannin and structure.
