Tasting Notes

Like the vintage itself, this is a very giving, generous wine. Nearly opaque dark purple in the glass with a deep ruby halo. Intricately layered aromas suggest raspberry, oolong tea, pine tar, pressed mint, cinnamon and licorice. This wine has a very supple, round mouth feel saturated with notes of rose hips, red currant, lavender, allspice, and baking chocolate. Rich, decadent and voluptuous from start to finish.
