2018 Morgan Sauvignon Blanc
Tasting Notes
The 2018 Sauvignon Blanc features aromas of grapefruit, lime zest, and subtle gun flint. Flavors of pomelo and green peppercorn are lively and refreshing. A small touch of oak accents this medium body, high acid wine, by adding elegant texture to a long finish.
The juice was tank fermented to preserve bright fruit flavors. Following fermentation, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels (of which 11% were new) for 5 months of aging.
Food Pairing – An incredibly versatile wine, it’s a natural match for shellfish, seafood, and lighter summer fare.
