Winemaker Notes
The wine is pale straw in color with a green hue. It opens with layers of passion fruit, citrus zest, melon, and tropical fruit on the nose with a hint of elderflower. The palate offers juicy, weighty, sweet fruit balanced by clean acidity. Concentrated citrus flavors with passion fruit, guava, and pomelo linger through the finish.
Food Pairing – Delicious with seafood (salmon, mussels, oysters, sashimi) and poultry
About Drylands Winery
The Drylands Winery is in the Rapaura subregion of Marlborough’s Wairau Valley. Our vineyard immediately adjacent to the winery buildings has some of the oldest Sauvignon Blanc vines, going back to 1980. Drylands Sauvignon Blanc delivers expressive passionfruit/grapefruit flavors typical of Rapaura.
