2023 Honig Sauvignon Blanc
Napa Valley
Winemaker Notes
Honeysuckle and stone fruit aromas and flavors flow into a perfectly round mid-palate, followed by bright citrus reminiscent of lime and ruby grapefruit. A layered and delicious Sauvignon Blanc in the classic Honig style, easily enjoyed on its own or with lighter seasonal fare.
Blend: 98% Sauvignon Blanc, 1% Sémillon, 1% Muscat
About Honig Winery
We purchased our Rutherford Vineyard in 1964, and began producing wine in 1980. In 1984, at the age of 22, Michael Honig took over management of the vineyard and winery. With the help of a handful of family members and a staff of dedicated employees, what began as a small “garage” winery has today become a successful family enterprise, with everyone working collaboratively to run an inspiring and socially responsible business. At Honig we believe it is our responsibility to preserve resources and sustain the environment. Our family and employees have been committed to environmentally sound practices for decades. Our Napa Green and California Sustainable Winegrowing Association certifications are but one component of an overall sustainable culture encompassing our vineyard, winery and business.
As a family owned and operated winery, we are committed to preserving and improving our environment and minimizing our impact on the planet. Our California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance and Fish Friendly Farming certifications serve to demonstrate our leadership and commitment to creating a better future for our planet and the generations to come.
