Tasting Notes
Full-bodied, juicy, with ripe fruit characters on the nose and palate. Aromas of raspberry and blackberry compote follow on the palate balanced by vibrant acidity. Plums, wet stone, and savory herbs add depth and complexity, and a whiff of black pepper on the long finish gives it a delightful kick.
About Ridge Vineyards
In 1962, Ridge made its first Monte Bello, and two years later its first zinfandel. Since that time, Ridge has championed single-vineyard winemaking, searching California for those rare and exceptional vineyards where climate, soil, and variety are ideally matched.
