Tasting Notes:

Impressive density in color and structure. Enjoying the nose, one is immediately met with memories of summertime and fruit aromas of brambleberry and juicy strawberry. These aromas are complemented by notes of herbs and spices that are synonymous with the Estate. Across the palate, the striking liveliness and boldness of the tannins are present from beginning to end, reminding the taster of the vineyard site’s dusty red earth. A combination of savory and iron driven tones on the mid-palate are another nod to the terroir, but are accompanied with the flavors of familiar red fruits, bringing a sweetness and harmony to the wine. Crossroads Cabernet Sauvignon is intended to be appreciated upon release, but will continue to impress over the next few years.
