Tasting Notes
Dense and broad Viñas de Gain with impressive concentration and compact tannins that give gravity to the palate, showing fine rust to the fresh blackberries, iodine and fresh violets. I love the power here with the fine-grained, chocolaty tannins. Long and nicely chewy. Tempranillo.

About Artadi
ARTADI, a history linked to the remembrance and know-how of our ancestors, non industrial and based in the passion and respect for the vineyard. 1985,Laguardia. A group of vine-growers, village men and women with rooted traditions and their focus on their vineyards and wines, found ARTADI. In 1992 the Lacalle and Laorden family take control of the project. The obsession for vine growing and the cult to the vineyard led us to discover characteristics that define the personality of unique wines: wines which are a reflection of their origin. That same conviction was the one who brought us to expand our project in 1996 in Navarra (Artazu), in 1999 in Alicante (El Sequé) and in 2015 in Guipúzcoa (Izar-Leku). Our grandparent’s experiences became wisdom and a pattern of life. We keep alive the viticultural traditions of our ancestors, fighting against the destructive advances that chemistry has introduced into industrialized and disrespectful agricultural management. We aim to preserve the production and the enjoyment of a “living” wine, with feelings and spirituality, integrating nature and the vineyard in our own lives.
