Tasting Notes
The 2023 Upper Awatere Sauvignon Blanc is delightfully aromatic. Lifted notes of cool climate stone fruits, blackcurrant bud and gooseberries fill the glass. There is an abundance of fruit weight on the palate which is structured and well balanced, with refreshing mineral acidity.
About Clark Estate
Clark Estate is a true family wine company that believes strongly in honest family values, outstanding quality and prompt service. After long careers as soldier and nurse, we bought a sheep paddock by the Black Birch Stream in the Awatere Valley and established 20 acres of Sauvignon Blanc from scratch.
The journey began for Peter and Jane Clark back in 1998 when they made the decision to venture to Marlborough, plant a vineyard and live off the land. More than 20 years later their children Sarah and Simon have joined Clark Estate and our wines are now exported and enjoyed all over the world.
