2017 Philippe Girard Bourgogne Pinot Noir
Tasting Notes
This wine offers to the eye, a robe rich in color, a cherry red. On the nose, the bouquet opens with a basket of red and black berries. Structured on the palate, supple and round.
About Domaine Philippe Girard
The Domaine Philippe Girard is located in a pretty property, in the heart of Savigny les Beaune, a very beautiful village very close to Beaune.
The center of the village retains a historic atmosphere with its 12th century church and its 12th century castle.
Winemaker from father to son for more than five centuries, Philippe Girard perpetuates the tradition with the help of his son Arnaud by offering you quality wines that reflect the terroir.
The estate’s vineyard is very fragmented, it extends over the communes of Savigny les Beaune, Pernand Vergelesses, Aloxe-Corton, Nuits Saint Georges, Pommard and Volnay. The wines come from the reasoned cultivation method and are aged for 10 to 12 months in oak barrels by us.
