2018 Connetable De Talbot St Julien
Winemaker Notes
The Connétable de Talbot 2018 is made from a blend of 43% Cabernet Sauvignon and 57% Merlot. The wine is aged for 16 months in barrel, of which 20% is new. The Connétable of Talbot 2018 is produced in the style that has become associated with Château Talbot: an elegant and classic Saint-Julien. Dense, dark garnet color, drawing on purple in its youth. The nose reveals notes of violet and empyreumatic like wood, roasting, vanilla. In aging, the wine will reveal very high-quality game or truffle aromas.
