About Alex Foillard

Alex Foillard comes from an iconic Beaujolais family and set up his own business in 2016 under the SAS Resveratrol structure. Son of Jean Foillard, a leading figure in the Beaujolais wine renaissance, he is now developing his own vision, while maintaining a strong family tradition. The estate primarily cultivates vines located in the Beaujolais crus, notably Morgon, on granite soils typical of the appellation. The vines are grown using environmentally friendly practices, with careful soil management and particular attention paid to microbial life. The wines are made without unnecessary additives, using indigenous yeasts for fermentation and minimal aging
