TASTING NOTES
Attractive peach and grapefruit-peel character, plus considerable power and structure for a Rueda dry wine. This packs quite a punch on the long finish, but is just beginning to open up. Better from 2019 and probably at least another five years of aging potential after that.
VINEYARDS
The grapes are sourced from a special selection of very old Verdejo vines. The manual harvest is hand sorted in the vineyards and again on the sorting table before being processed into an inert press to minimize oxidation. The juice is barrel fermented and aged on its lees.
