Seductive and alluring, Lust opens with voluptuous aromas of chocolate covered strawberries, licorice, vanilla and wood smoke. Bold, sultry flavors of cranberry, cherry brandy and toasted baguette are rounded out by a tantalizing spice-laced finish that lingers until the next sip.

Each year, only the most outstanding small lots of Zinfandel are isolated from the many produced at Michael David to bottle under Lust. Lust is comprised of the best Zinfandel that Lodi has to offer; cherry picked right off the vine to create one sexy, showy and seductive wine. This limited production vintage possesses all the qualities expected from a luxury Zinfandel…Smooth to the core and leaves nothing to be desired.

About Michael David Winery

We and Lodi go way back. We’ve been farming this soil since the 1850’s and cultivating wine grapes since the early 20th century. Our founders, brothers Michael and David Phillips, are 5th generation grape growers who have raised their families in the vineyard, and now the 6th generation has joined the team, Mike’s son Kevin and daughter Melissa. We, more than most, understand the importance of leaving it better than you found it for future generations. Our family legacy and love of Lodi drive our focus on sustainability.

We’ve called Lodi our home for 6 generations, and our winery, still family-run, continues to stay committed to the land, community, and spirit of our hometown.

Our unconventional collection of wines are all responsibly grown in Lodi, California according to the Lodi Rules, a set of over 100 standards that account for all aspects of making quality wine in a sustainable manner: environmental, social, and economic.
