About Reanati Winery

Recanati Winery was established in 2000 by Lenny Recanati and Uri Shaked. Their goal was to establish a new winery that would produce quality and original Israeli wine. The winery’s philosophy is aimed at creating local and original wines, wines that will best express the place’s climate, soil and vintage years.

The wine production process is led by chief winemaker Kobi Arbiv, who began his work at the winery in 2006, and over the years has developed and studied the world of wine as an autodidact. Arbiv, a talented and original winemaker who believes in adapting the Mediterranean varieties to the climate of Eretz Israel, an authentic winemaking philosophy, which strives to reflect in the wine’s creation the growing area, the vineyard, and the grape variety that grows in it.

Vineyard winery in the highest quality growing areas in the country, and he carefully cultivates unique Mediterranean varieties, such as Petit Syrah, Marslan and Carignan, local varieties (Maravi) and all this in parallel with the cultivation of classic international varieties, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and other varieties.
The winery is proud of its unprecedented achievements in recent years, both in the local arena and in the international arena. But it does not rest on its laurels and continues to cultivate new vineyards, conduct research in the field of agriculture and viticulture, and most importantly – produce wine with great love, while striving for continuous improvement and optimal expression of the wonderful Eretz Israel trout available to us. Recanati winery, a symbol of excellence.
