The dark brooding aromatics from this wine come from one of the best vintages mother nature has given Napa Valley this decade. A beautiful blend of dense lilac and violets with dark raspberry and fresh cassis on the nose. Followed by balance with ripe and fresh black and red fruits with gentle acidity and generous tannins. The wine finishes with finesse and polish. With a pungent earthiness, this wine is silky smooth and inviting in dark black fruit, tobacco and oak. The tannins settle to show structure but in an unobtrusive way, making way for lasting notes of dark chocolate, cola and pepper.
