Tasting Notes

Shimmering ruby. Expressive, mineral-accented raspberry and boysenberry aromas are complemented by suggestions of licorice and pungent flowers. Seamless in texture and well-concentrated, offering sweet red berry and cherry liqueur and floral pastille flavors and building spiciness. Rich yet energetic in style, finishing with fine clarity, repeating florality and harmonious tannins that sneak in late.

VARIETIES 100% Grenache

TERROIR – The grapes come from our plots located on the places called La Fond du Loup and La crau Est. Spread over 2 hectares of sandy soil, the vines of these plots are on average 60 years old.

VINIFICATION – Manual harvesting with sorting in the vineyard and in the cellar.

The wines are aged in barrels for 12 months before bottling.

FOOD PAIRINGS This Châteauneuf-du-Pape goes wonderfully with grilled or simmered meat, lamb legs with herbs or beef stew.
